Zac Efron Believes Seth Rogen Can Make Anything Funny

Zac Efron has nothing but positive things to say about his Neighbors co-star Seth Rogen.

Since the High School Musical alum believes the Knocked Up star is one of the most talented comedians on the planet, Efron claims Rogen only makes his attempts at humor stronger. According to Zac, Seth has the uncanny power to make just about anything insanely hilarious.

Zac Efron dished on his co-star’s abilities during a chat with BBC 1 Radio’s Breakfast Show. Judging from the impossibly nice things Efron said about the Pineapple Express star, Rogen can improve everyone’s ability to generate laughs.

“I have always appreciated Seth’s sense of humor, because it’s so honest, it’s really self-deprecating, and I’ve identified with it since I was super young. He’s so good. He makes anything funny. He does [make me funnier], he passes the Seth energy on. He makes everybody funny,” Zac Efron explained to Nick Grimshaw.

The actor continued, “Our relationship never changes, I wish Seth could produce every film I’m in, he kind of just takes the lead he is always setting the pace and the tone for everybody. He helped the director, Nicholas Stoller, that’s what Seth is able to do, ground everything. He is a great idea guy, and he’s great to improvise with.”

According to the Daily Mail, Efron took a moment to sign some autographs for fans who were anxiously awaiting a chance to meet the actor at three in the morning. Zac told Grimshaw that he appreciates that his supporters have stuck with his through the years.

“It’s very sweet of everybody though — I do want to say thanks to my fans out here. It’s good to be back. I was thinking about this yesterday. I mean essentially it’s the same thing, like I’m starting to recognise the same people –watch them grow up, get older,” Zac Efron explained.

He added, “You know when I started coming out here I was probably about 19 and every single time I got on a flight I was wondering if they would still be there. On the way here I looked out of the window and saw a lot of familiar faces. It makes me feel great every time I come. I feel so blessed about it all — it’s pretty rad.”

Zac Efron fans can watch the hunky actor square off against Seth Rogen in director Nicholas Stoller’s Neighbors in just a few days. The comedy is presently scheduled to hit theaters in the US on May 4.
