Watch Los Angeles Clippers Vs. Golden State Warriors Live Online: Will Team Protest Owner Donald Sterling?

Fans can watch the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors game live online and see whether the allegedly racist rant from Clippers owner Donald Sterling will result in a protest from the team.

On Saturday a nine-minute video was released showing someone who appeared to be Sterling admonishing his girlfriend for being seen in public with black men. Sterling chided his girlfriend for posting a picture to Instagram showing herself with Magic Johnson.

The incident has spurred threats of protest online and even had many Los Angeles Clippers players considering a boycott of the game. This has added anticipation to an already tense series, with the Clippers holding onto a 2-1 lead and looking to take control in Game 4.

The teams will meet Sunday at 3:30 pm in Oakland. While a fan protest of some sort seems likely, the Clippers players decided not to let Donald Sterling’s alleged racism keep them from their goal of an NBA title.

“I thought we needed to talk about it because everyone else is and so we needed to talk about it and all things came up,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said in reference to the idea of a player boycott. “We’ve heard all the stuff, the boycotts and all the stuff and all those things are things you could do but we choose to play and we’re going to play tomorrow…. It was brought up because I’m sure 20,000 people have suggested it but honestly I’m completely against that and they were, too.

“Why should we let someone’s comments stop us from what we’re trying to do? We’re trying to do something here and we don’t want that getting in the way of what we’re trying to do.”

Those who watch the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors game live online will see if the Clippers can draw inspiration from the incident, and whether the Warriors fans will protest in any way. The hashtag #BoycottClippers became one of the biggest trends on Twitter on Saturday, with many fans calling on the league to take action.
