Rick Springfield DUI: Singer Charged With Two Misdemeanor Counts

Jessie’s Girl Singer Rick Springfield has been charged with two misdemeanor counts stemming from his May 1 arrest on DUI charges. The first charge is a misdemeanor count for the DUI and the second is for having a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.08.

The one-hit-wonder at 61-years-old has just recently drawn comparison and outrage from his fans when examining the recent tragedy of the late MTV star Ryan Dunn who was killed when speeding after drinking.

Springfield was pulled over in his 1963 Corvette on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and blew a 0.10 during his arrest.

From playing a cocaine loving version of himself on the hit TV series Californication to being pulled over for a DUI, perhaps it’s time for Springfield to age gracefully and bow out of the spotlight he hasn’t really stood in since Jessie’s Girl hit the airwaves.
