A Texas middle school teacher allegedly gave a 15-year-old a lap dance for his birthday in front of the entire class.
Police have charged the teacher with an improper relationship with a student. The school district placed the teacher on paid administrative leave while the case is pending.
In other words, the teacher is on the heat seat for the alleged classroom lap dance.
The felony charge was filed yesterday in the incident that dates back to late February in which the teacher -- identified in multiple media accounts as Felicia Smith, 42 -- allegedly gave the teenage boy a so-called "full contact" four-minute lap dance.
Smith reportedly admitted to police that she gave the teen a lap dance after his classmates convinced her to do it. "According to the student, Smith, 42, put a chair in front of the rest of the class right as third period started. Other students encouraged the boy to sit down as music started playing. That's when the birthday dance began. Smith allegedly rubbed her hands on his body, fondled him and grinded against him. At one point, while on her knees, Smith placed her head between the 15-year-old's legs."
As you would expect, video apparently exists of this unconventional birthday party in school, but has yet to be released into the public domain.
At the end of the dance, the teacher allegedly hugged the student and said "I love you, baby. Happy Birthday."
Smith also told reportedly police she lost her balance a couple of times when she circled the chair, much to the amusement of the onlooking students. The school district located in Harris County, Tex., issued the following statement today:
"A criminal charge of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student has been filed against a Stovall Middle School teacher. The charge was filed by Aldine Independent School District Police, who investigated the case along with the campus administration. The teacher was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned. The district takes this allegation seriously and is fully cooperating with prosecutors. The safety and security of our students will continue to be a top priority in Aldine ISD."
Separately, in another middle school incident, last month a 7th grade teacher in Arkansas accidentally showed her class a personal sex tape.
