Stephen Sutton Raises £2 Million: ‘When Life Gives You Cancer’ Video Goes Viral

A few days ago, The Inquisitr had reported about the inspirational story of Stephen Sutton, the teenager from Britain who has been afflicted with terminal cancer. Stephen, who posted somewhat of a good bye message a few days ago as his condition deteriorated has much to the relief of people who love him, posted another message in his Facebook page earlier today. In the update, Stephen has described his condition to be “stable” and has appreciated the wishes that he received from people the world over. He adds that while the cancer in his body is still rife and dangerous, he feels lucky to be still here and make a difference to other people’s lives, the lengthy update said.

Stephen also announced that his charity fund raising endeavor for the Teenage Cancer Trust has managed to cross £ 2 million. His original plan was to raise just £10,000. Earlier this month they had crossed the £1 million mark thanks to efforts by celebrity comedian Jason Manford.

Stephen also used his latest Facebook update to promote a short documentary video that he uploaded to his YouTube channel. The video was made with the help of the Make A Wish Foundation and it is about about Stephen’s life and the things he has been doing lately. The video showcases the different people who Stephen is connected to on a daily basis. His mother, teachers and friends too feature in it.

Stephen says that the film was scheduled for release next Tuesday – but he chose to release it earlier because he thought that now was a great time to share it with his followers.
