Call of Duty ‘Chaos’ Mode Will Kill You, But The Rewards Are Great [Video]

Call Of Duty, which recently received the much–awaited infestation of alien life, has now been bestowed with a new ‘Chaos’ mode that will have players trying to survive as long as possible.

Receiving a steady stream of Downloadable Content (DLC), Game of Duty just got a whole lot more difficult owing to the Chaos Mode that is bound to be chosen primarily by expert players or those who are confident of surviving the longest duration by utilizing all their skills.

Players who have the DLC Extinction can update their game with a new patch that adds Chaos Mode, among others. The Chaos Mode is highly different from other modes like Casual or Hardcore. All episodes have received new Casual and Hardcore difficulty settings. Subsequently, in custom online Extinction Matches, gamers can now choose to play at Casual Difficulty, aside from Regular and Hardcore difficulties. The changes to the Strike Package point system from online matches have now also been added to offline play as well. This means the game points are now intelligently assimilated from Online as well as Offline modes and players get to score big, reported Gameranx.

However, the Chaos mode essentially trumps all other modes. It involves taking on an endless stream of adversaries. The mode puts players against the unending waves of enemies that just keep on coming until the player is dead and while getting rid of the enemies, they are rewarded power ups for chaining kills together. Though the Chaos mode in Call of Duty is basically a suicide mission, it will help the player rake up huge score bonuses for staying alive and fighting for as long as possible.

Moreover, in Call of Duty: Ghosts Extinction, the player won’t be facing human enemies, instead the player will be coming across the aliens whom they will have to keep on defeating until the game is over, which happens when the player dies. As The Inquisitr had reported, Call of Duty Ghosts recently got a DLC update that unleashed the Predator from the cult 1980s film franchise. It appears the game has been inspired from Modern Warfare 3, which has the exact same mode.

Despite the huge appeal, the patch has only been confirmed to have gone live for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Though it is a 2.3GB download, players will surely jump at the opportunity. However players owning PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, and Wii U will have to play the ‘waiting’ game, which is far more difficult.
