Taylor Swift fans in Shanghai helped the country music darling break records in China.

The singer is bringing her RED Tour to the city’s Mercedes-Benz Arena this summer. Since Swift doesn’t head to Asia every month, people who love watching the young lady do her thing on-stage didn’t hesitate to throw their money at ticket agents.

MSN Entertainment reports that folks who wanted to see Taylor Swift perform in Shanghai on May 30 didn’t wasn’t a single second snagging tickets to the performance. In fact, all the seats at the gig sold out in just under a minute. Needless to say, Swift’s fans broke records in China with their boundless enthusiasm.

Those who missed their chance to see Taylor rock the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Arena still have a few options to explore in the region. However, you may have to travel a bit and hit up some area scalpers if you want to catch Swift in the flesh.

According to the folks at Great American Country, there are plenty of reasons why fans would want to catch the performer on-stage during the RED Tour. In addition to cranking out some of her biggest songs, Swift also plays the “electric guitar, banjo, piano, and acoustic guitar” during her shows. Folks who pay to see her live also get plenty of dancers, costume changes, and elaborate sets. In other words, she gives people their money’s worth.
