Porsha Stewart: Arrest Warrant Issued Relating To Cat Fight With Kenya Moore
Porsha Stewart could be in serious trouble following her reunion “fight” with Kenya Moore on the set of “Real Wives of Atlanta” last month.
According to report in Us Weekly, an arrest warrant has been issued. This news was confirmed by Sgt. Gregory Lyon, speaking on behalf of the Atlanta police who said “Yes, a warrant for simple battery exists. However, [Porsha] is not in custody.”
As reported widely in the media, the RHOA stars were often at each other’s throats during filming, but that was nothing compared to what happened at the reunion in March.
An inside source told Us Magazine: “Porsha stood up, so then Kenya stood up. Porsha charged at Kenya and pulled her hair, but it was over in a matter of seconds…Andy [Cohen] and a producer jumped in, and then security came.”
Any Cohen, the producer who broke up the cat fight, told his assistant Daryn Carp: “It was such a flash. And it started to escalate, and then I was trying to prevent it, and a couple other people jumped in, too.”
He continued: “To me, it came out of nowhere. The other women felt like Kenya provoked [Porsha] a bit…I was so shocked and surprised. I don’t want that to happen. I think it’s gross. And I think it just…it’s totally inappropriate, it’s wrong, it’s not entertaining. It’s just bad.”
Last night Bravo treated its viewers to a sneak peak of the fight between Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore. In it, Kenya can be seen holding a wand of of some description in her hand and kept waving it aggressively in Porsha’s general direction.
There was then a bit of not-unexpected-verbal between the two woman when Porsha said to Moore: “You’re a slut from the 90s.” With that, the two of them were on their feet and that’s when the action started.
There is no question that the ongoing feud and resulting brawl between Porsha Stewart and Kenya Moore got a lot of ratings for Bravo and suggestions have been made that perhaps the whole thing was staged in order to garner more interest in the show.
