Kristen Stewart debuted a dramatic new bright orange hair-do for her upcoming project, but the actress said she has something even more dramatic in mind for her head.
Stewart stars in American Ultra, which started filming this month. She appears opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the comedy about a small-town couple who gets targeted by the government.
Her look for the movie was shared by Maison de Cheveux salon in New Orleans, which was responsible for turning Stewart’s hair orange. The salon posted an Instagram picture of Kristen Stewart, with her hair orange and no makeup.
“Kristen Stewart gettin her hair ready for a new role! #americamultra #awesomecolor #houseofhair,” the salon captioned the picture.
The salon’s owner told Us Weekly that the hair change was made at the request of Kristen’s director. The owner added that she was the ideal customer.
“[Stewart] was very sweet and cool,” the owner said.
Kristen Stewart seemed comfortable with the look, but said she has a more drastic change in mind for the future.
“If I wasn’t an actor, I would definitely do things to my hair. I would cut it more, I would dye it more,” Stewart said in an interview with Into the Gloss. “At some point I want to do a total boy cut, completely — not a pretty, girly version — like a straight up James Dean haircut.”
The hair plans get more dramatic from there, Stewart shared.
“And then, I’m definitely going to shave my head before I die. I will definitely tattoo my head while it’s shaved before my hair grows back,” she continued. “I’m not sure which part, probably the bottom quadrant in the back. I don’t know what the tattoo would be, yet. Still thinking.”
Kristen Stewart probably has some time to think about it, at least if she has more acting in mind.
