Snooki And Jionni LaValle Expecting Baby No. 2 After Months Of Trying
Snooki and husband-t0-be Jionni LaValle will have a new addition to their family soon after the couple announced on Friday that they are expecting baby No. 2.
The couple, who welcomed son Lorenzo in 2012, said they had been trying for months to conceive and finally got it right.
“Jionni and I were trying to have our second baby since November, so every month we kept taking tests,” she tells Us Weekly. “I’m due in the fall around my wedding time. Busy year!”
“I can clarify that our wedding is still on, and we are madly in love with each other. We’ve waited long enough and cannot wait,” she adds. “I also want to look somewhat in shape for my wedding. So along with still being a healthy pregnant woman, I still want to be strong and fit!”
Rumors that Snooki and Jionni LaValle were expecting their second child have floated for weeks now, with anonymous sources talking about a pregnancy as far back as February.
The timing means that Snooki will be pregnant at the same time as her friend and reality show castmate Jenni Farley, better known as JWoww. Farley and her fiance, Roger Matthews, are expecting a girl later this year.
With Snooki and Jionni LaValle now growing their family, it seems the pint-sized reality star has completed quite a turnaround. Once a hard partier in the early days of Jersey Shore, Snooki has now settled down and taken a family oriented approach to life.
“Before I had the baby, I was very selfish, and all I wanted to do was go to Vegas with my boyfriend and party,” Polizzi said last year. “Once you have a kid, everything changes…. It changes how you look at the world.”
Snooki has even penned a book motherhood, Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way.
It’s unclear what the new baby will mean for her reality show career, as Snooki said in the past she might step back from the spotlight to raise her family.
Snooki and Jionni LaValle have not announced the due date yet, or the date for their wedding.
