Lindsay Lohan Defended By ‘2 Broke Girls’ Star Kat Dennings

As some of you may know Lindsay Lohan will be appearing on an episode of 2 Broke Girls next week. Lohan’s episode marks her return to acting, so her episode was naturally teased for weeks leading up to her appearance. Between the promotion of Lohan’s episode, she has endured tanked ratings on her OWN docu-series, rumors of her falling off the wagon, and other gossip-y items to deal with.

In Hollywood, where it seems like everyone only remembers your last mistake, Lindsay Lohan hasn’t had many friends to turn to in the industry for support. However, her 2 Broke Girls co-star Kat Dennings isn’t one of those celebrities. Dennings, who will be seen in Thor 2: The Dark World has stuck up for Lohan.

As usual, the rumors that Lindsay Lohan is difficult to work with popped up when the Mean Girls star made her way to the set of the CBS comedy, but Dennings was adamant about shooting those rumors down. It all started when a blogger wrote about attending the filming of the sitcom. In an excerpt the blogger called on Lohan’s behavior:

‘Lindsay was a train wreck… you only want to watch so many collisions before you realize you have better things to do with your life…[We, the audience members] are very familiar with every single one of Lindsay Lohan’s lines and can repeat them all verbatim to you because we heard them so many times last night. There is not a member of the audience who couldn’t do a better job than Lindsay Lohan did last night.”

Dennings has since tweeted in response to the post, defending Lohan fully:

Lohan will appear on next week’s episode titled “And the Wedding Cake Cake Cake.” The official synopsis for the special episode reads as follows:

“Max and Caroline agree to make a wedding cake for a bride (Lindsay Lohan) who can’t decide on what style of cake she wants, or much of anything else.”

Regardless of whether or not the story is true, it does seem like Lindsay Lohan is at least trying to get her ducks in a row as far as her career is concerned. Throughout her OWN series the actress has clearly expressed her intent on lining up new acting projects once she settles into her new life.
