Emma Watson Has No Desire To Date Anyone Famous
If you want to date Emma Watson, then you’d better not have any popular tunes or hit movies on your resume. The actress has no desire to hit the town with someone famous.
This little slice of celebrity-oriented gossip is no doubt extremely good news to quite a few people. Since most of the guys and gals who fancy Watson are several degrees away from Kevin Bacon, this means they have a shot at taking Emma out for an amazing evening. Unfortunately, the Harry Potter alum already has someone special in her life.
During her recent chat with Elle magazine, Emma Watson discussed what she’s looking for in a boyfriend. While she didn’t delve into a bevy of specifics, she did mention that famous folks need not apply. That means you probably won’t see Watson and any of her Harry Potter co-stars hooking up anytime soon. Sorry to ruin your week.
“I don’t date people who are famous. I don’t think it’s fair that, all of a sudden, intimate details of their personal life are public as a direct result of me. I wish I could protect them,” Emma explained to the publication.
In case you haven’t heard, Emma Watson is dating Oxford University rugby player Matthew Janney. According to Just Jared, Janney’s parents are extremely thrilled that he’s dating the Noah star. Coralie Day said earlier this year that she couldn’t wait to meet the actress for the very first time.
“We are thrilled to bits that he is seeing Emma Watson. We are looking forward to meeting her soon. Hats off to her for finding such a wonderful young man. There is nothing bad anyone could say about Matt. He is absolutely lovely,” she told the London Evening Standard.
According to the International Business Times, Watson doesn’t seem to embrace fame as quickly as other actresses her age. In fact, she seems to enjoy the idea of growing up and getting older.
“As a younger woman, that pressure got me down but I’ve made my peace with it. With airbrushing and digital manipulation, fashion can project an unobtainable image that’s dangerously unhealthy. I’m excited about the ageing process. I’m more interested in women who aren’t perfect. They’re more compelling,” she explained during a chat with the Sunday Times.
