Kate Upton Goes For Marilyn Monroe Imitation At ‘The Other Woman’ Premiere

Kate Upton did her best job channeling Marilyn Monroe at the premiere of her movie The Other Girl, adopting an old Hollywood look and wearing a replica of one of Marilyn’s trademark white dresses.

The 21-year-old swimsuit model turned actress has been doing a lot of work to promote the film, including a number of red carpet appearances. But a recent appearance at the London premiere outshined them all, with Kate wearing a white Christian Siriano dress that looked straight out of Marilyn Monroe’s closet. She finished off the look with a bob hairstyle that seemed fitting for 1950s Hollywood.

The Marilyn Monroe look earned Kate Upton plenty of attention, with pictures splashed across the internet.

“This look is proof that Upton looks just as good on the red carpet as she does in one of her racy photo shoots,” noted Jamie Feldman, fashion correspondent for The Huffington Post. “We can’t wait to see what else she steps out in as the press tour continues.”

While Kate is used to getting attention for her magazine covers and naked photos, her acting debut has also gotten her quite a bit of attention. In The Other Woman, Leslie Mann finds out that her husband has been cheating on her with Cameron Diaz, and later learns that he’s been sleeping with Upton’s character as well.

Kate said she learned a lot from working with the two seasoned actresses.

“They were the most inspirational and amazing women I had the honor to work with,” she told E! News “They were really helpful in my experience with the movie, and I really appreciated all of their advice and all of their encouragement.”

Mann added that Upton seemed natural in front of the camera.

“To be fair, she is a natural,” she said in a recent interview. “It’s weird. She walked in the first day and it was like, BAM!”
