McDonald’s Receipt Tattoo Kid Gets An Even Dumber Follow-Up Tattoo

A kid with a McDonald’s receipt tattoo on his arm decided to one-up himself, getting an equally stupid tattoo on his left arm.

Stian Ytterdah is an 18-year-old from Norway who made worldwide headlines last week when he unveiled a McDonald’s receipt tattoo across his right forearm.

Now, not to be outdone, the teen has struck again. Ytterdah decided to take the receipt for the first tattoo and have that inked onto his left arm. He was accompanied by Norway’s VG on Tuesday to Sabel Ink, the studio where he had the second tattoo done, to ensure that the second tattoo got equal media attention to the first.

The teen doesn’t appear to be putting much foresight into his tattoo choices. In an interview with Norway’s Romerikes Blad newspaper, he admitted that the tattoo is funny now but might be different in the future.

“Now I’m a living billboard, but I think it’s all just fun,” he told the newspaper. “Maybe it won’t be as fun when I’m 50 or 60 years old, but that’s my choice.”

He also added that the McDonald’s receipt tattoo was the result of some peer pressure.

“A couple of my friends thought I had been a little too active towards the ladies lately and wanted to punish me,: he said. “When we were at McDonalds on Monday, they said I either had to get a Barbie tattoo on my ass or the receipt on my arm.”

But Ytterdah is riding the wave of attention while it lasts. He has created a Facebook page titled “The man with the mcdonald’s tattoo,” and so far has more than 500 likes.

In a Facebook post this week, Ytterdah posted a picture of the follow-up to his McDonald’s receipt tattoo along with a one-word explanation of his actions — YOLO.
