January Jones Doesn’t Wear Panties For Jimmy Fallon

January Jones decided a VPL (Visible Pantie Line) would spoil the appearance of the revealing jumpsuit she chose to wear on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show last Friday.

But it’s no problem to dispense with panties, especially since the headlines next day are guaranteed. The media has an extraordinary obsession with underwear – especially the lack of it, but, it seems only when women are involved.

I can’t recall the last time I saw any celebrity news items about a famous male star ditching his boxers (unless it was in connection to some sex story).

January, 36, certainly intended to be controversial by featuring a deeply plunging neckline in the black jumpsuit, and with enough cut-out detail to reveal significant amounts of skin.

But, as Us Magazine reports, at least she didn’t go over the top with her makeup, which she kept fairly simple, with just a touch of blue.

Earlier on Friday, the Mad Men Actress went for a look inspired by the 80’s, She was photographed outside her New York hotel in a white blazer, a black T-shirt, and a pair of J Brand “Genevieve: jeans.

And, just to finish of the whole look, January wore bold red lipstick and had her hair fixed in a bee-hive style.

January Jones is in New York with other stars from the AMC Network shows to take part in the publicity and promotion presentation of the network.

Her connection with AMC dates back to 2007 when she was cast in the role of Betty Draper in the wildly successful Mad Men series.

Jones gets her unusual first name of “January” not directly from the name of the month, as is commonly supposed, but from a character in Jacqueline Susann’s novel “Once Is Not Enough” named January Wayne.

And her name is not the only unusual thing about January. She has never married, although she has dated a few of Hollywood’s most eligible, including Ashton Kutcher, Josh Groban, and Jason Sudeikis from SNL.

So it’s just possible that one of them could be the father of her 30-month-old son, Vander Dane, but January is not saying.

Following her son’s birth, it has been reported that she had capsules made from the dried placenta; she claims that taking them helped her get back to work quickly.

So, not wearing panties is just another example of January’s somewhat different outlook on life’s conventions.
