Selena Gomez’s New Calabasas Home Attracts Trespasser, Man Arrested

Selena Gomez’s newly purchased Calabasas home attracted a trespasser over the weekend for which a man has been arrested.

The former Disney star was at her California home at the time.

Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ reports Selena and a friend heard a strange noise” as they arrived back at her brand new five-bedroom, 7,200 sg, ft. home.

Accordingly, the actress-singer asked security to check it out. However, it’s reported before security could investigate a man allegedly rang the doorbell and asked if the pop princess was home.

The starlet’s friend reportedly answered the door and told the unidentified man Selena wasn’t home and the man left of his own accord.

Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene shortly after, and it was discovered the intruder had broken into Gomez’s guest house.

A 21-year-old man was eventually arrested for burglary and trespassing and is now currently being held on $50,000 bail.

It’s certainly a nasty homecoming for a young woman living on her own in a new home that’s for sure.

As first reported by TMZ, Gomez paid around $3 million for a brand new home of her own, which is apparently just “minutes away” from the Kardashian clan home’s in Hidden Hills.”

The Spring Breakers star may well be looking heavenward of late given last week’s events.

The Latina was served with a subpoena last Thursday outside a Los Angeles convenience store by a process server, in a money shot moment that was captured by paparazzi.

As it turns out, Gomez has been ordered to testify at a deposition connected to a lawsuit filed against her on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber by paparazzo Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran. He is now suing Bieber in a civil assault and battery case he launched last June.

E! News reveals: “Selena has been ordered to appear on April 23, 2014, to be deposed in Los Angeles.”

Duran claims he was drop-kicked by BIeber in the parking lot of a Calabasas shopping mall during a confrontation with the then 18-year-old heartthrob in May 2012.

Gomez – who was on a date with the “Baby” singer at the time – will be deposed on April 23 and questioned by Duran’s lawyer on what she allegedly saw, her relationship with Bieber and any other queries.

In addition, following Bieber’s now infamous appearance at a Miami deposition for a lawsuit filed by paparazzo Jeffrey Binion – who alleges the singer ordered his bodyguards to attack him after he was spotted taking photos last June — Selena is set to be deposed in the same suit.

Binion’s attorney, Mark DiCowden told Radar Online: “I will be serving Selena Gomez next week. She witnessed Justin Bieber attack a photographer back in 2012.”

On a brighter note, Selena won the Favorite Female Singer award at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, beating out the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga — and Taylor swift.

We will have updates on the trespasser arrest at Gomez’s arrest as and when they emerge.
