Jimmy Fallon: Top 5 Funniest Videos Since Taking Over ‘The Tonight Show’

Jimmy Fallon has taken over The Tonight Show with a flurry of great guests and fun moment, but perhaps his defining characteristic thus far has been his ability to create hilarious viral videos.

Of course, creating these videos is nothing new to Jimmy. As host of Late Night from 2009-2012, Fallon started to see how much further his show could reach through viral videos. Now, as host of the most-coveted late night show, Fallon has really come into his own with some great clips from his show.

Though Fallon has only been host of The Tonight Show for a little while, there’s already enough hilarious clips from the show to create a top 5 list. Here they are:

Kevin Bacon’s Footloose Entrance

Ever feel like going back to a simpler time when the biggest problem in your life was the fact that dancing is outlawed? Jimmy Fallon took us back there when Kevin Bacon came on the show in all of his 1980s Footloose glory. Even though this video is only a few days old, it already has more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing

The original Evolution of Dance video is one of the most-viewed YouTube clips of all time, but Fallon put his own spin on it when he invited Will Smith onto the show to create a hip-hop version. The whole video is great, but we especially like it when Fallon and Smith start dancing “The Carlton,” an homage to Smith’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Jimmy Fallon and Billy Joel Sing Doo Wop

Perhaps the best thing about this dust is how absolutely giddy you can tell that Jimmy Fallon is. Fallon admits to Joel that he is a huge fan and you can tell that he is telling the truth. Jimmy pulls out an app that records his and Joel’s voices and allows them to sing a two-man doo wop. A fun watch, for sure.

Photobombing with Jon Hamm

This is a little more understated than some of the videos, but the idea of being photobombed by Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm is hilarious. It’s also fun to see the different photobombing techniques they had.

Let It Go with Idina Menzel

Fresh off the butchering of her name by John Travolta at the Academy Awards, Menzel showed she had a sense of humor by appearing with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots to sing “Let It Go” from Frozen with classroom instruments.
