Christina Aguilera Reveals She’s Having A Girl With Fiancé Matt Rutler
It’s a baby girl for Christina Aguilera and her fiancé Matt Rutler. The pair announced that they are expecting a daughter after the “Beautiful” pop star revealed on stage during a concert in Malaysia.
The announcement that Aguilera is expecting a baby girl with her fiancé comes only weeks after the star revealed that she and Rutler were happily engaged after years of dating. At the time Aguilera announced the happy news through her Twitter account.

Although Christina didn’t tweet about the announcement she made on stage in Malaysia she did send love to the people that were a part of the special moment on her Twitter account.

Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler’s baby girl marks the first child for Matt and the second for Christina. Aguilera shares custody of her son Max, 6, who she has with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman. The pair were wed in November of 2005, but split a few years later, and then finalized their divorce in February of 2011.
As previously reported, Aguilera cancelled her performances in Malaysia out of respect for those who had lost their lives on flight Mh370. Despite cancelling the two concert dates, the singer went on to perform a private show for the people that traveled to Malaysia to see Aguilera perform. Although Aguilera never publicly confirmed the private show, from her tweet, and the breaking news about expecting a baby girl, it looks like it actually happened as expected.
A sponsor, Petronas, made a statement about the event that Aguilera was supposed to perform at:
“It is truly a tragedy and we are deeply saddened about the crew and passengers of flight #Mh370. As the sponsor of Twin Towers Alive 2014, we have concluded with [the] event organiser… and other fellow sponsors to cancel Tta 2014 as a sign of respect to the families & next-of-kin of the crew and passengers of flight Mh370. Our deepest condolences to them.”
The original show was supposed to feature Aguilera with other recording artists following the Formula 1 race. Due to the nature of the sudden cancellation organizers of the event started a hotline for people who felt they need to complain about the concert being cancelled.
Luckily there were still fans that got to experience Aguilera’s impressive pipes, and witness what’s said to be Christina’s unexpected reveal that she’s having a baby girl with her fiancé.
No official word has been released in regards to Christina Aguilera’s baby girl.
