Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson Hit The Studio With Good Charlotte

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are getting a little assistance from a pair of certified rock stars.

One Direction is presently hard at work on a brand new album. Although the fellas are penning some of the songs themselves, this doesn’t mean they’re not above getting help from other musicians. According to E! Online, Liam Payne and his buddy recently hooked up with Good Charlotte to work on some new music.

Although details of their collaboration are currently under wraps, it’s no secret that Payne and Tomlinson hit the studio with Benji and Joel Madden to work on the new tracks. The Good Charlotte boys recently shared the exciting news on social media.

Benji offered up this slice of info regarding his meeting with Liam Payne.

Instead of Twitter, Joel decided to discuss the collaboration on Tumblr. He wrote, “Noice! The London boyz putting in tha werk in the studio.”

If you still need proof than Liam Payne and his fellow One Direction singer are working with the rock band on some new material, then take a moment to check out this tweet from Tomlinson. Apparently the guys are keen on getting the word out about the collaboration.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Payne doesn’t want to limit himself to just One Direction material. Liam intends to share his songwriting abilities with other musicians, including the girl group Neon Jungle.

“Liam Payne knew who we were and said he was listening to our song in the car. He said that he’d really to write for us, so we’re waiting for the song,” singer Amira McCarthy recently told the Daily Star.

Liam previously explained that he and Tomlinson co-wrote several of the songs on the One Direction album Midnight Memories. He said, “Louis and I have a little partnership going on. We’ve been pretty keen to start writing straight away. I’ve been in the studio already, it’s been going really well. Learning how to write is the best way of ensuring your career has longevity and that you have control over it.”
