Cher Upset With Designer Bob Mackie, Shares Emotional Messages On Twitter
Cher has a broken heart, and she wants the world to know all about it.
Before he helped Miley Cyrus put together some outfits for her Bangerz Tour, fashion designer Bob Mackie was helping Cher turn heads with her unique brand of outrageous costumes. The singer has worked with the guy for over 40 years, which explains why she’s so broken-hearted at the moment.
According to E! Online, Cher was more than a little shocked to learn that Mackie wouldn’t help the Moonstruck star put together a few dresses for her shows. This effectively ended 42 years worth of collaborations, something the singer didn’t take lightly.

Why did Bob Mackie decide to turn his back on Cher? The designer hasn’t officially addressed the situation as of this writing. According to The Star-Ledger, it may have something to do with the amount of time and effort it takes to create a suitable outfit for Cher.
“It’s not like dressing a regular person — it’s like dressing a crazy goddess. Sometimes she’s an Egyptian goddess and sometimes she’s a biker chic goddess,” he previously explained.
As for those other obligations, Mackie recently helped Miley put together some outfits for her insanely controversial Bangerz Tour. When you’re dressing so many famous bodies, sometimes you have to tell a few people “no.”
