TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled Being Pulled in US

If you’ve taken nearly two years to decide whether or not to pick up Ubisoft‘s 2009 remake TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled, you might want to come to your decision fast – it’s going to be pulled from this coming June 30 in the US.

According to a statement provided to Joystiq, Ubisoft is pulling the title off of digital shelves in the US due to a license expiration. There’s no word on whether or not the title will remain up in other regions, but I suppose no news means good news.

TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled is currently sitting at a “meh” rating of 60 on Metacritic. Despite being a re-make of one of the most memorable beat-’em-ups from my generation, the transition into HD did little to save the game from its repetitive gameplay mechanics.

Still, if nostalgia gets the better of you and you want to give TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled a whirl, act fast.
