Tom Arnold Weight Loss Revealed During SXSW Appearance [Photo]
Tom Arnold showed off his dramatic 89-pound weight loss during a recent appearance at SXSW.
The annual music and film festival in Austin, Texas is a good place for bands and filmmakers to introduce their wares to the masses. Tom Arnold, meanwhile, used a recent red carpet event for director Mike Myers’ documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon to show off sleek new frame. In this writer’s opinion, the guy looks pretty good.
Of course, Arnold was pretty hefty before prior to his weight loss. The Inquisitr previously reported that Tom tipped the scales at a staggering 287 pounds before he decided to make a change in his life.
“Wait a minute. I’m 54… This isn’t going to work out if I want to be around this kid, because every day is important when you’re my age.’ From that moment on, I stopped eating like a jerk, I stopped being selfish about what I ate and I really paid attention to it and the weight came off.,” he previously told the Today show.
He added, “This isn’t a diet. I had to change my lifestyle because I want to be a father forever.”

In addition to watching his portions, eating healthier, and exercising, Tom Arnold said he achieved his dramatic weight loss with a little help from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“He [Arnold Schwarzenegger] started his own line of supplements. He has never done that before – you think he would have. They are very healthy. So if you’ve got heart stuff. It’s very healthy, there’s nothing bad in there,” he explained to TMZ.
The actor added, “Your penis is really the only part of the body that doesn’t gain or lose weight. So [when you lose weight] you don’t have the fat, that fat thing above your penis. When you lose weight that goes away, that extra cushion.”
