Lindsay Lohan wants everyone to know that her life is getting back on-track.
In fact, the Mean Girls star is slowly but surely putting her troubles in the rear-view mirror. During the premiere episode of her documentary series Lindsay, the actress revealed that some of the things that caused her problems in the cast are no longer an issue.
“I’m in this really good place where I have this inner peace right now. All the distractions and chaos that go on outside just in daily life in general don’t really affect me anymore,” Lohan revealed. Of course, only time will tell if she’s telling the truth.
She added, “I’m trying to figure out how to be sane and live, how to live out of a hotel, which I did when I was in a crazy phase in my life and that brings up a lot of memories and I hate it. And now I’m figuring out everything for myself with things being left up in the air constantly.”
Unfortunately for Lindsay Lohan, her new series wasn’t a ratings bonanza when it debuted on OWN Sunday evening. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lindsay only managed to snag approximately 693,000 viewers. Although this isn’t an impressive number, the publication points out that it’s the biggest premiere for an unscripted series in 2014.
“We knew statistically speaking, from a ratings point of view, that we wanted to bring a different audience to this network,” OWN president Erik Logan explained.
The Inquisitr previously reported that Lindsay Lohan managed to irritate Oprah Winfrey while shooting the documentary. When the actress stepped on Oprah’s last nerve one too many times, she found herself on the receiving end of a stern lecture.
“This is exactly what everybody said was going to happen and I believed differently. You need to cut the [expletive]. My truth is that I really do want you to win. You need to cut the bulls***, you really do,” Winfrey fumed.
Although Lohan admits there’s essentially nothing left for her to drink these days, it’s still unclear if the troubled actress will fall back into old habits. However, Lindsay seems to think that her wild days are finally over.
“There’s no party I haven’t gone to, there’s no person that I haven’t hung out with, there’s no situation that I haven’t, you know, been exposed to,” she explained.
Are you still a fan of Lindsay Lohan? Do you think the actress is capable of turning her life and career around?
