Dunkin’ Donuts To Open 46 Locations In Sacramento Area

Dunkin’ Donuts fans in the Sacramento area can rest easy! The company has announced that they will be opening 46 new locations in the area!

According to CBS Sacramento, thanks to an agreement with franchise group Sizzling Donuts, LLC, Dunkin’ Donuts plans to open up locations in Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Manteca, Placerville, Tracy and Davis.

With 46 news locations opening up, its safe to say that many will be excited, especially the creative minds behind the hit “Drunk in Love” parody “Dunkin Love“. The “Dunkin Love” video went viral days after being uploaded to YouTube, and just as the title suggests, it’s a tribute video to the beloved Dunkin’ Donuts franchise.

According to an earlier report by The Inquisitr, actors Reggie White and Adrian Anchondo decided to express their love for Dunkin’ Donuts by recreating the hit Beyonce song. The idea behind the song reportedly came not only after watching the “Drunk in Love” music video, but also because there had been news that the popular breakfast chain would be bringing more stores to the west coast. “I get hungry when I see that billboard baby. I been thinking, I been thinking, why can’t I have you on the West Coast baby, I want you. Open all night and everything alright, no complaints cos I heard Dunkin will soon be in my sights.”

Well, with Wednesday’s announcement of 46 new Dunkin’ Donuts locations opening up in the Sacramento area, it would seem like Dunkin’ will be within the sights of many. According to KTXL, this news comes after the construction of two new locations in Southern California; in Barstow and at Camp Pendleton.

“We are excited to bring Dunkin’ Donuts’ high-quality coffee, sandwiches and baked goods to California and look forward to breaking ground on the first of many California locations,” said Ted Morton, CEO and president of Sizzling Donuts’ parent company, Sizzling Platter LLC in Murray, Utah.

According to The Modesto Bee, Sizzling Donuts LLC has signed multi-unit store development agreements to develop more than 60 new Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout Northern Utah; Denver, Colo. and Texas over the past year.
