Selena Gomez Boozing At Oscars Afterparty
Selena Gomez appears to have had a little bit too much fun after this Sunday’s Oscars ceremony. Selena attended the exclusive Vanity Fair after party with her BFF, Vanessa Hudgens. These allegations of drinking come fresh on the heels of Gomez’ stint in rehab for what has been termed “exhaustion.” However, in our world of 5 minute news cycles, there are conflicting reports of just how much Selena had to drink at the Vanity Fair party.
On the side of drunken debauchery, RadarOnline presents a detail filled report of Gomez’ antics on Oscars night. An eyewitness exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the “Come and Get It” singer was boozing it up and even stumbled in her heels by the end of the night. Gomez, 21, sipped on champagne and other assortments of liquor while goofing off with Hudgens and taking lots of photos.
“Selena was drinking constantly throughout the entire party when I saw her. She was having a grand old time and towards the tail end she was stumbling in her heels and almost toppled right over!”
The source went on to describe even the type of drinks Selena was imbibing: Gomez drank champagne and other light liquors that could have been vodka or gin. To recap, Radar reported:
“Selena and Vanessa were just having a really good time, laughing and taking pics. She wasn’t slurring too bad, but was definitely in the happy-sleepy stage.”
It has been widely reported that Selena spent two weeks in rehab for exhaustion in January of this year. Radar sources have told them that Gomez actually spent time in the Arizona facility after “partying very hard”, with alleged alcohol and drug abuse issues. However, Selena’s reps insist that she “voluntarily spent time at Meadows [rehab facility] but not for substance abuse”.
On the other end of the scandal spectrum, the Daily Mail is reporting that Gomez was never photographed with a drink in her hand. They have also uncovered a source that blows up the whole “drunk and stumbling” storyline by telling the Mail:
“She wasn’t even there very long.”
The day after the party, Gomez was photographed in the morning in what appeared to be good condition, after what some speculated was a wild night. The pop singer was headed out for an early morning session at an LA dance studio.
