We all know that Mark Wahlberg has muscles, which it is more apparent than ever in the new Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction poster and sneak peek trailer.
The latest installment in the franchise is the sequel to the 2011 Transformers: Dark Of The Moon and focuses on Wahlberg, who took over for the controversial Shia LaBeouf after his departure from the series.
This is the first of the series that will not have its 27-year-old star and reveals a completely new cast.
Transformers 4 debuted a trailer during the Super Bowl, February 2, giving fans an idea as to what they can expect going forward and what Mark Wahlberg’s character looks like.
Some have called this, the most anticipated blockbuster of the summer,” which is a bit of a stretch, however, fans of the franchise are certainly looking forward to seeing how will the studio deal with all these newcomers.
Mark Wahlberg plays the human, Cade Yeager, a single father, struggling to raise a teenage daughter, Tessa, and working on his inventions.

Back in 2012, following several denials, director Michael Bay — who had said Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon would be his last film of the franchise — announced the casting of Mark Wahlberg as the lead character and at the time, said:
“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on Pain And Gain and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers legacy.”
The casting of Wahlberg — who we recently saw portraying Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell in the film Lone Survivor — certainly brings a different dimension to the fourth installment, as he is one of the most popular American actors of our time, as opposed to LaBoeuf, who seems to be followed by controversy.
Transformers 4 takes place three years after the previous installment in the franchise and even though the new trailer, starring Mark Wahlberg as the new lead, seems to be pretty much same ‘ol, same ‘ol from the clip we saw during the Super Bowl, it has some new footage. Can you tell what it is?
