Valeria Lukyanova Converts To Breatharianism, Believes She Can Live Without Food Or Water

Valeria Lukyanova, a Ukrainian model, has become an internet sensation after altering her appearance to resemble one of the most popular childhood toys of all time… a Barbie doll.

Known as the Human Barbie, Lukyanova has always stirred controversy about her looks, with her over the top make-up and plastic appearance. She has admitted to having breast implants, but says the rest of her body is all natural, even her tiny 50 cm waistline.

Valeria has always adhered to a strict liquid and vegetarian diet, but she is now taking things to a whole new level, and has decided to convert to Breatharianism. For those of you who do not know what a breatherian is, it is a person who believes that they can live on light and air alone without food or water. The website Breatharian.info explains the belief in more detail.

“This is a state of man (breatharian, inediate, non-eater) characterized (among other things) by the absence of eating, resulting from (or rather being a stage on the way to) expanding of the Consciousness sphere in which a person lives. In general an ideal (fully realized) inediate, breatharian, non-eater has no need to eat or drink to keep the body working perfectly. A breatharian consumes no food and no drink, he/she needs only air to nourish the body.”

Valeria revealed that she is training her body to no longer need food or water to survive. “In recent weeks I have not been hungry at all; I’m hoping it’s the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone,” Valeria explained. Many people have attempted the Breatharian lifestyle, and at least one death has been associated with the fasting. While people are capable for living a few days without food and water, it is not humanly possible to receive all of your nourishments from light and air.

While this may sound extreme, this is not the craziest thing that Lukyanova has ever said or done. She once revealed that she was actually an alien that traveled to Earth to help rid the planet of negative energy.

“The aim of my life is to come to this planet to help people to realize that is it necessary to move form the role of the ‘human consumer’ to the role of ‘human demi-god,'” Lukyanova explained in the documentary titled Space Barbie. “Everything is love. Love is God. I am you and you are me.”
