Model Estella Warren has entered a treatment facility following her May arrest for driving while intoxicated.
Warren was arrested May 23rd in Los Angeles. At the time of the incident, Warren reportedly struck three cars with her vehicle, assaulted and officer and attempted to evade arrest. The model turned actress was eventually charged with “DUI, hit-and-run driving, battery on a cop, and resisting arrest.”
Her lawyer commented to press about Warren’s case:
Warren’s attorney — Darren Kavinoky — tells People.com, the “Planet of the Apes” star entered a residential treatment facility shortly after posting bail last month, and has been sporting the bracelet for the last 10 days.
Kavinoky adds, “She’s committed to making the situation right and moving on in a way that’s appropriate.”
Warren faces two-and-a-half years in jail if convicted on the charges she faces. A hearing in the case scheduled today was postponed, and it was not disclosed whether a new hearing has yet been scheduled.
