Cristiano Ronaldo Hit On The Head By Lighter Thrown By Fan
An Atletico de Madrid fan threw a lighter from the stands, which hit Cristiano Ronaldo on the head in the scary incident during the Copa del Rey semifinal.
The uncalled for and potentially dangerous reaction from the fan was captured on video and shows Ronaldo walking back onto the field with two other Real Madrid players when suddenly he gets hit, square on the right side of the head with the object.
With an excellent aim, the fan hit the intended target, which could have had disastrous consequences for the player who many call the best player to ever play the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo is serving a three game suspension following a red card exit two weeks ago during a game against Athletic de Bilbao, after he made a gesture that was considered disrespectful to the ref — who also received a suspension of one month for this poor performance in the match.
The suspension, however did not affect the Copa del Rey appearance on Tuesday and the striker was able to join his teammates against the Atletico.
After the hit, Cristiano Ronaldo was treated on the sidelines and later rejoined the rest of the team.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo was also involved in another frightening incident, but not for him. Atletico’s Javier Manquillo attempted to out-jump the Portuguese star with no luck and almost suffered a devastating injury when he landed on his neck. Watch below:
