Gucci Mane and Flocka Flame: “She Be Puttin On”
When rapper Waka Flocka Flame isn’t working on a collab project with Brick Squad crew member Gucci Mane-which he isn’t right now on account that Mane is sitting in prison- or posing for PETA, he is most likely adding to his ever-growing mix tape project, DuFlocka Rant.
Mane, born Radric Davis, and Flocka Flame collaborated on a song titled, “She Be Puttin On,” prior to an incident in which Davis was apparently jailed for pushing a woman out of a moving vehicle when she wouldn’t agree to sex, and now that track is available for your listening displeasure.
Being a fan of old school hip-hop- Illmatic/Mob Deep/Liquid Swords Days, when lyrics actually had substance- myself, I seriously wonder how people can enjoy music like “She Be Puttin On.” Enlighten me, please.
