The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Coming This Holiday Season, New Trailer

What will likely be the final entry of The Legend of Zelda to grace the Wii now that the Wii U has been announced, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, finally has a release window: this holiday season. A holiday season release? Who'd have thought!

As part of the 25th anniversary of the Zelda series, Nintendo will be releasing a gold, Zelda-themed Wii Remote -- which I assume will be a Motion Plus, but Nintendo didn't say -- at some point before or after the launch of Skyward Sword.

Nintendo's also planning to celebrate Zelda's 25th birthday with a series of Zelda-themed concerts worldwide, as well as two music CDs. If you register your copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS over at Club Nintendo, you'll get first dibs on the two CDs.

While Nintendo didn't show a full-blown trailer of the game at their press conference earlier today, they have since released a brand new trailer for the game. See it for yourself below.
