‘Ghost Adventures’ Star Zak Bagans Buys Indiana Demonic Possession House

Ghost Adventures television show host Zak Bagans just purchased the Indiana “demonic possession” house. The ghost hunter reportedly wanted to own the Gary property so that he could spend time inside and see what happens. As previously reported by The Inquistir, the former rental home was the site of a multitude of exorcisms by a Catholic priest and bizarre happenings allegedly witnessed by local police and social services workers.

Zak Bagans reportedly paid just $35,000 for the Indiana demonic possession one-story home. The ghost stories stemming from the house went viral last week after a story in the local newspaper, the Indianapolis Star, garnered international news media attention.

Latoya Ammons, her mother, and three children started renting the allegedly haunted home in 2011. Ammons claims that a lengthy series of “erie phenomena” occurred within the house and to her children. Latoya underwent a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether or not a mental health issue had prompted the odd claims – she was given a clean bill of health.

A social services worker and police officer sent to the home to investigate the alleged activities of the children also claim to have witnessed seemingly supernatural occurrences. According to Layoya Ammons and the local government employees, a daughter levitated above her bed, and a son walked backwards up a wall and onto the ceiling.

After making an offer on the home to the landlord, Zak Bagans said:

“I really have a passion for this stuff and the research aspect. If its [demonic possession] true this home is a portal to hell, then I want to go there and see what happens.”

An excerpt from the social services report filed after a visit to the Indiana demonic possession home:

“Medical staff reported that while the children were at their primary doctor’s office the medical staff reported they observed [blacked out child’s name] lifted and thrown into the wall with nobody touching him. Gary police department went to the home and the home has multiple religious shrines, bibles throughout the home, plenty of food, the home was clean.”

Zak Bagans’ Ghost Adventures series is a reality TV show that chases tales of haunted houses and ghost sightings. The Gary, Indiana home did not reportedly have any supernatural activity until Latoya Ammons and her family moved into the property. A USA Today report indicates that Charles Reed owned the home for more than three decades. Reed stated that there were no issues with the rental property until Latoya lived there.
