Big Time Rush Singer, Carlos Pena, Marries Alexa Vega
Big Time Rush singer Carlos Pena, Jr. is officially a married man! According to E! Online, Pena and Alexa Vega tied the knot on Saturday, January 4 during in an intimate ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“We are so thrilled and blessed that we were able to have all of our close friends and family join us on our special day,” the couple said in a statement to People.
In an earlier report by The Inquisitr, the “Spy Kids” star and the Big Time Rush singer started dating around the time Vega’s previous marriage to movie producer Sean Covel was ending in 2012.
Vega was 24 years old when she and Covel, then 36 years old, made their divorce final. The two had married at a ceremony in South Dakota in October 2010. According to The Inquisitr, “the pair’s wedding raised eyebrows, due to their age difference: Vega was 21, while Covel was 33.”
My relationship with Sean was deeply important & formative for both of us. It simply evolved out of a marriage and into a friendship.

By the time news broke about Big Time Rush’s, Carlos Pena, and Vega’s new relationship, the two seemed to be very fond of each other. In fact, Vega often shares photos of herself and Pena on her various social media profiles. The two seem more than happy now that they are almost a whole month into their new marriage. Alexa Vega posted the following tweet to her fans just after midnight the day following her wedding:
