Taylor Swift Isn’t Pleased With The Internet’s Grammy-Related Ridicule [Rumor]

Taylor Swift is a little bummed that so many people are having a laugh at her expense.

The country star definitely had a rough time at the 2014 Grammy Awards this year. In addition to walking away from the event empty-handed, Taylor briefly thought she’d received the award for Album of the Year. Unfortunately, that honor went to Daft Punk. The animated GIFs that followed amused scores of people, though Swift apparently isn’t laughing.

According to Hollywood Life — a website that occasionally cooks up celebrity-related stories on the fly — reports suggest that Taylor Swift is thoroughly irritated that the internet is having a collective laugh about her reaction.

“Taylor can take the good, but really can’t take the bad. She wants to be centre of attention during award shows, that’s why she dances all the time. She knows the cameras will be on her,” an insider revealed.

The anonymous source continued, “But with what happened, she was genuinely surprised. And afterwards when everyone gave her flack for it, she got upset. Not tears or sad upset, more like not taking it for the funny moment it was, but pouting about it and whining about it to anyone that would listen.”

As if all the Album of the Year ridicule wasn’t enough to work her nerves, Taylor Swift also had to contend with an amusing Street Fighter-infused parody centered around her “All Too Well” performance at the Grammys. Although she poured her heart and soul into the tune, it wasn’t enough to keep rapper Wiz Khalifa awake.

“I love Taylor, but I’m not even gonna lie, I fell asleep. Just a little bit… then I woke back up,” he recently told Fashion Police co-host Joan Rivers.

To make matters worse for Swift, she reportedly did some damage to her dress while dancing up a storm at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Although some described the situation as a “wardrobe malfunction,” friend and fellow singer Ed Sheeran explained that Taylor’s outfit simply couldn’t keep up with her gyrations.

“It broke. There was this country song and she was dancing like Rick Ross and it snapped. It wasn’t really a wardrobe malfunction. It’s what’s meant to happen to a dress like that. You’re not meant to stay in that sort of dress,” Sheeran explained.

Unfortunately for Taylor Swift, it doesn’t appear that the ridicule surrounding her appearance at the 2014 Grammy Awards is going to die down anytime soon. If the report from Hollywood Life is true, then chances are it will only add fuel to the fire.
