Adele Apologizes For Canceling US Tour Dates

Singer Adele’s song “Rolling in the Deep” is currently burning up American airwaves, but the songstress won’t be able to perform for her US fans any time soon, she’s sorry to confirm.

Adele originally canceled a handful of dates, but was forced to cancel the remaining gigs- according to her website- because she is still recovering from a bout of laryngitis. A note on her website stated:

“While resting in Los Angeles, Adele met with an Otolaryngology specialist who determined it was imperative that she take the next few weeks to recover with absolute voice rest,” it was announced on her official website.

Speaking directly, Adele commented:

“I was hoping with a weeks rest I’d be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctors advice and rest some more.”

Cities with canceled dates include San Diego, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta and Nashville, and Adele will return to live performances in her native England in September.
