Flavor Flav has some great advice for Justin Bieber to stay within the law — now the Public Enemy hype man just has to follow his own advice.
After Justin’s arrest last week in Miami for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and drag racing in his rented Lamborghini, Flavor Flav had some words of advice to share on Twitter.
“Justin Bieber…gotta slow down Take it slow fam.. You on top,. Don’t come crumbblin down.,! It happened to da best,, Hope not you G…Flav”
Shortly afterward, Flavor Flav dropped some similar advice for the young pop star.
“Yo justin… Wen you git out Kidd..slow down.. Take it easy.. Relax.. Git it in,!!! Enjoy Miami Sun!..☀️!! Flavor Flav,,,”
Unfortunately, Flavor Flav had no one to tell him to slow down when he was caught going 79 MPH in a 55 MPH zone in Hempstead, New York, back on January 9. The rapper, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., was driving a black Hyundai on the way to his mother’s funeral when he was pulled over, TMZ reported.
This week Flavor Flav pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from the stop, which included driving without a license. Wearing his trademark clock around his neck as he appeared in court, the 54-year-old smiled and hugged family members and fans who came to support him.
“I’m hoping they would have a heart and dismiss it all because of the circumstances,” he said. “Because if it wasn’t for me driving to my mother’s funeral and being late getting to my mother’s funeral, I wouldn’t have been behind the wheel in the first place to get the charge.”
When he got into court, Flavor Flav criticized the unnamed New York State Trooper who held him up but ultimately thanked police for helping release him in time to make his mother’s funeral. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
