British band Coldplay debuted their next single, ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’, over on their website and YouTube yesterday. It’s not known as of yet whether or not the single will make it onto the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, but what is is known is that they’ll be performing the single at the upcoming Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts.
“We’re about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it’s as good a time as any to put out a new song,” said Coldplay drummer Will Champion on the band’s website. He went on in the post to reveal that the single will be available for download around the world starting today on iTunes, with the exception of the UK where it will be released early morning on June 5.
