Jennifer Lawrence Is Someone You'd Want To Have A Beer With, Says Elizabeth Banks

If Jennifer Lawrence seems like someone you'd want to have a beer with, then Elizabeth Banks wholeheartedly agrees with your assessment of the actress.

In the world of Hollywood celebrities, it's hard to find someone who is as universally adored as Jennifer Lawrence. Not only is The Hunger Games star a favorite among critics, she also has a very strong following with casual moviegoers. This ultimately helped Lawrence become one of the most bankable stars of 2013.

Of course, looks can often be deceiving. Someone who appears cool as a cucumber in front of the camera is frequently a nightmare to work with behind-the-scenes. According to Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lawrence is just as down-to-earth as the media portrays her.

"She is exactly what people hope that she is, which is really fun, easygoing gal you'd want to hang out with. You definitely want to have a beer with her," Banks explained.

Since Lawrence is so laid back, this gives Banks and other Hunger Games alum an opportunity to poke fun at the actress without fear of an ego-driven firestorm. The Little Accidents star said the cast and crew of Mockingjay gave Jennifer Lawrence a hard way to go when she recently received an Academy Award nomination for American Hustle.

"We all kid with her more than anything. A lot of poking fun at her. She can handle it, which is a lovely quality of hers," the actress explained.

However, Elizabeth Banks isn't the only Hunger Games alum who believes Jennifer Lawrence is essentially the bee's knees. Natalie Dormer, who tackles the role of Cressida in director Francis Lawrence's upcoming sequel The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, is also a pretty big fan of the Winter's Bone star and her work.

"She's a total chick. She's gorgeous," Dormer admitted.

Also singing Jennifer Lawrence's praises these days is X-Men: Days of Future Past co-star and rumored boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. While promoting his new film Young Ones, Hoult was asked about Lawrence's recent win at the Golden Globes. In the young actor's humble opinion, Jennifer deserves all of the kudos she's receiving.

"She deserves it all. It's fun to watch," he said.

Those who enjoy watching Jennifer Lawrence have plenty of options this year. In addition to X-Men: Days of Future Past, fans of the actress can catch her in Serena and the highly-anticipated sequel The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
