Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she and her rapping fiancé will probably tie the knot somewhere in Paris. However, the reality television star stopped short of discussing when and where the event will take place. Since details are few and far between, it’s up to the celebrity rumor mill to fill in the gaps.
According to The Sun, Kanye West and his main squeeze really want Lady Gaga to perform at the ceremony later this year. Since this juicy bit of gossip comes from an anonymous source, there’s no way of knowing how much truth this particular slice of info contains.
“Kim and Kanye met up with Gaga in Paris. They were desperate to get the star’s involvement, which is why she’s the first person to be asked. She’s ideal for them because Kanye has always been a fan of her style and performance art. But also, Kim loves her music, so it’s one they can instantly agree on,” the insider dished.
Of course, this isn’t the first bit of wedding-related gossip to spring up around Kanye West. Another source recently explained that the rapper’s request to hold the ceremony at the Palace of Versaille was completely rejected.
“Kim and Kanye really wanted to get married at Versailles and were hoping to persuade officials during their visit. But ultimately it backfired. It was still a firm non. They will now be scouting private estates and chateaux in the region,” the nameless individual explained.
However, Kim Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel that she and Kanye West were simply touring the Palace of Versaille during their trip to France. Since people saw the pair at the location, many foolishly assumed that they were trying to secure it for their wedding.
“We took a private tour. [Kanye West] and I have never been there so we wanted a private tour and of course everyone thought we were picking that as our wedding place and all of that,” she explained during the interview.
Kim said regarding Kanye West’s involvement: “I know they think or they say the guy doesn’t really care or just shows up. Kanye, really cares and he’s really passionate about it. It makes my job really easy and I love it he knows what he wants and I love that about him.”
