Appsfire Reaches 2 Million Downloads, Raises $3.6 Million In Series A Funding

Appsfire is an essential application for iPhone, iPad and Android users who are sick and tired of hunting through literally hundreds of thousands of applications to find the right programs for their own needs. The program works by allowing users to share their favorite apps with friends by using Facebook, their mobile device and the web.

After crossing the 2 million app download milestone the company announced on Monday that they have raised $3.6 million in series A funding. That money is led by French VC firm IDinvest (the company is based in Paris and Tel Aviv).

The money comes after Appsfire increased their user base from one million to two million users since February. According to the company they are already generating 3 million leads for app developers on a monthly basis.
