Meg Ryan To Star In ‘Precious’ Producers Directorial Debut ‘Long Time Gone’


Meg Ryan is very close to signing on the dotted line for the starring role in Long Time Gone the directorial debut from Sarah-Siegel-Magness the producer behind the movie Precious.

The movie follows a broken family that looks to “fix” themselves when the girlfriend of their youngest son moves in with the family. The indie drama was written by Karen McCullah who also wrote Legally Blonde and The Ugly Truth. The movie was adapted from Angel, Angel a novel by April Stevens.

Siegel-Magness definitely has the experience to make her debuts, Precious was nominated for six Oscars and won two, she also adapted the popular children’s book series Judy Moody into a film that will debut on June 10.

Production on Long Time Gone is set to begin this Fall in Los Angeles.
