Erin Andrews may be small and pretty but she’s definitely not the type to get intimidated, even by Football players many times her size. After the game Andrews conducted a live interview which with Richard Sherman who started ranting and raving about the 49ers Michael Crabtree.
Andrews pulled Sherman to the side and was shouting a question in his ear trying to be heard above the racket at the stadium following the Seahawk’s victory which will take them to the Super Bowl.
Erin Andrews asked Sherman how he felt about the vwin to which, as you can see from the clip below, Sherman screamed and shouted his response:
I’m the best corner in the game! When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you’re going to get. Don’t you ever talk about me. Don’t you open your mouth about the best, or I’ll shut it for you real quick.
In her attempt to calm Sherman down, Andrews quickly turned to him during his rant asking: “Who was talking about you?” Sherman responded that he was referring to the Seahawk’s player Michel Crabtree.
Before he snapped Sherman had apparently approached Crabtree and smacked him on the butt before giving him a hard shove.
Nevertheless Andrews wasn’t noticeably fazed by the situation and in keeping with her professional reporting style sent the following Tweet after the interview:
Richard Sherman gave a candid response seconds after an emotional game..looking forward to a great Super Bowl matchup.
So the question remains, what did Michael Crabtree do to upset Richard Sherman so much to the point where he was nearly frothing at the mouth?
Well, that is unclear at the moment, what is clear is that we don’t have any idea what makes Richard Sherman tick. The other question is why did Sherman seem to vent his anger on poor Erin Andrews? Let us know your thoughts on this one in the comments feed below.
