Korean Shoppers Love The Samsung Galaxy S II, One Million Units Sold [Sales Record]

The Samsung Galaxy S II is a huge hit in Korea where shoppers have helped set a one month sales record in the country by selling one million units during the first 30 days of release. At one million units that mean buyers purchased one of the Smartphones every three seconds.

To put that number into reference the company took 70 days to sell the same number of Galaxy S units.

The Galaxy S II managed to break 100,000 units in the first three days and never slowed.

The Smartphone was a favorite of buyers thanks to it’s 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, 3G capable of 21Mbps and the company’s revamped TouchWiz interface.
