Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm Teaser Leaked

Fans of the largely successful and highly anticipated second installment in the StarCraft series, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, may be content with their multiplayer offerings for the moment, but I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I am uber stoked to see what Blizzard’s up to for the next game in the StarCraft II trilogy. After the engaging singleplayer game we were offered with Wings of Liberty, it would be hard not to be.

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm was officially revealed before Wings of Liberty even shipped, but Blizzard has been largely keeping all of the information to themselves since the release of Wings of Liberty, likely holding back for this year’s BlizzCon. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait any longer to get a taste of what we can expect with Heart of the Swarm; unfortunately for Blizzard, it’s not exactly intentional.

A 40 second teaser trailer for the expansion was leaked all over the web this morning, with the trailer hitting just about every major video site under the sun. Blizzard may not be having such a good day after the leak, but fans of StarCraft will undoubtedly be excited to see something on Heart of the Swarm, even if it’s just a teaser trailer.
