Jared Leto And Taylor Swift Chat It Up At The Golden Globes

The best thing about the Golden Globes besides hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is getting to see the celebrities make nice with each other. Some pairs who were hanging out were a given (Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) while others not so much. Today the unlikely pairing of Taylor Swift and Jared Leto are creating headlines for their after-party conversation at the Golden Globes.

Leto took home one of the night’s top honors for Best Supporting Male for his work in Dallas Buyers Club, but now the thing that most people are talking about is his chat with serial dater Taylor Swift. Swift, who was a nominee for Best Original Song attended the InStyle magazine after-party and met up with the 30 Seconds to Mars front man.

According to onlookers Swift and Leto appeared to look very comfortable and cozy with one another. The 42-year-old and the 24-year-old were even snapped holding each other close for a pose at the party, so we at least know that they definitely did meet after the Golden Globes ceremony.

The best tip of the night that’s making fans of the two scratch their heads came from the Daily Beast reporter Marlow Stern, who captured a private moment on her phone of Leto whispering what we’re guessing were sweet nothings into Taylor Swift’s ear. Stern’s cheeky captioned the Instagram photo of Leto and Swift with:

“Me. Taylor Swift. Golden Globes. Xo.”

Even though Taylor Swift lost out to U2 for Best Original Song it seems like she wasn’t pouting in a corner. Onlookers said that she was hitting the dance floor with her pals Sarah Hyland and Hailee Steinfeld. Now we’re wondering if she and Jared Leto had a chance to cut a rug during their time together at the InStyle party.

So far Taylor Swift has a long track record of boyfriends including Joe Jonas, Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, John Mayer, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
