Ciara Pregnant With The Future’s Baby

It’s official Ciara is pregnant with the Future’s baby. The R&B singer and her fiancé hip hop artist made the news official on The View as co-host Jenny McCarthy posted a photo of the two cradling Ciara’s growing bump.

For the announcement McCarthy wrote, “Congrats to my girl @ciara so happy for your bun in the oven.” In October Ciara and Future announced their engagement after a publicist for the two confirmed the news to People magazine.

Back then the couple’s rep said via a statement:

“Future surprised Ciara with an engagement ring this weekend, also her birthday weekend, in New York City… The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co.”

At the time Ciara tweeted about the joyous occasion, having shared the news with her followers:

“Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver. If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)”

At the time of their engagement Future and Ciara’s relationship was already on the upswing with pregnancy rumors following the couple. While Ciara kept mum on the pregnancy, she revealed to E! in November that she was looking forward to having a big family with her fiancé Future.

Ciara said that she and rapper, “absolutely” want to have a big family. “I think that’s like next step [in our relationship]. You gotta go one step at a time, but that’s what I live for.”

Of her plans for the future with her fiancé, Ciara explained that her family values have been built into her upbringing from the very start:

“My mother and father were married for 30 years, and my grandparents were married for 50 years, so it’s only right. And I’m an only child, so I want to build a big family.—not too big, but big enough.”

Of the impending nuptials Ciara said that she’s very very excited for the ceremony to take place:

“I just can’t wait to do everything, I’m like a little kid right now.”
