Gabrielle Union Reveals Why She Got Back Together With Dwyane Wade

Gabrielle Union has revealed why she rekindled her romance with basketball star Dwyane Wade.

Union recently accepted Wade’s proposal, even though Wade reportedly fathered a child with another woman when the couple briefly split last year.

The 41-year-old actress told Glamour magazine that she split with the athlete because of their professional pursuits. “It was because of distance and scheduling,” she admitted. “I finished filming the show, then I flew to Vegas right away to start shooting Think Like a Man Too. I couldn’t take time off, and I missed some quality togetherness we desperately needed.”

However, after the summer apart, the pair soon realized that they actually wanted to be together, and their reconciliation was soon on the cards.

“I’d always wanted an awesome career with back-to-back projects, but I realized I wasn’t willing to sacrifice my relationship for it,” Union admitted. “Moving forward, I decided my work schedule has to make sense for our family. Bottom line: If an issue’s a deal breaker, it’s a deal breaker. If your relationship isn’t something you’re willing to give up and you can compromise, do so.”

Because of the split, both Wade and Union now make sure that they shower each other with affection on a daily basis. “I am almost a little Chester the Molester-y. I think he’s so delicious,” she remarked. “Watching him get out of the shower never gets old. Never. It’s not like he ever wonders what I’m thinking, but usually he’s thinking, She needs a cold shower!'”

Earlier today, The Inquisitr reported that Union is allegedly now pregnant with Wade’s child.

The first rumor emerged via MediaTakeOut when the publication wrote:

“With all the DRAMA and SCANDAL going on… Gabby may have some GOOD NEWS on the horizon. MediaTakOut.com just spoke with a person IN THE KNOW who tells us that people close to actress Gabrielle Union are whispering that she’s PREGNANT.”

The source went on to note that Gabrielle didn’t drink during the couple’s recent vacation, while they have both openly spoken about their desire to have children in the past too.

MediaTakeOut continued:

“The insider added that Gabby and her fiance Dwyane Wade have been OPEN about having children, and now that a wedding is around the corner, now is as good a time as ever. And as further evidence, peep Gabby last night on Jimmy Kimmel. We see a tiny bulge in Gabby’s USUALLY FLAT stomach. And her nose seems to be spreading a bit too.”
