Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Segway Sighting In Calabasas, Say What Now?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been spotted riding Segways together in Calabasas, California.
They even caused a traffic jam.
And breathe.
The ex-sweethearts, who dated for over two years but first broke up in November 2012, spent time together on Thursday, January 2, having post New Years fun riding around Justin’s gated The Oaks neighborhood.
In pictures circulating online, the white T-shirt, jeans, snap back hat wearing heartthrob and a male pal can be seen on their Segways, just a few yards ahead of Selena.
The “Come and Get It” star kept things casual for the outing, wearing grey leggings, a white top, and a long black cardigan, capped off with a jaunty ponytail.
TMZ’s many many man-hours paid off as they were the first to report “spies” in the Calabasas enclave said the pop duo were “spotted tooling around the Oaks — where Justin lives — on their Segways.”
An onlooker named @nicksanitsky on Twitter live-tweeted the surprise play date.
The bystander uploaded a snap of the ex-lovers’ day out adding a few indignant details.
“Bieber and Selena segwaying in the Oaks. She was so nice, so he yelled at us,” he wrote, before posting a photo.
He continued: “Shoutout to @justinbieber for holding up all the traffic in the Oaks. Grow up…Thanks to @justinbieber told us to f*** off, and his bodyguards blocked the road, so hello to my new followers! Gotta admit, I was kinda starstruck by @selenagomez but @justinbieber ruined the moment.”
So, there’s no denying it was them. Last April Selena visited the pop prince in Oslo, Norway while he was performed on his Believe tour before travelling on with the tour to Sweden and Denmark. At the time sources said the on-off couple had a “crazy” and “intense” chemistry but nothing was set in stone.
Fast forward past the Instagrams and intermittent sightings together, Selena’s public defense of her ex-beau on GMA, awkwardness in May at the Billboard Music Awards, Bieber’s red rose appearance at the Latina’s Malibu birthday bash in July, Cailin Russo’s interview — to Justin’s recent interview with Power 106 FM.
Asked for the backstory to his Journals single “All That Matters,” the Canadian admitted it was about the Spring Breakers actress.
“I wrote the best music once my heart was broken. ‘All That Matters’ was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life,” he told host ‘Big Boy’ at the Los Angeles hip-hip radio station on December 17.
Describing their break up the 19-year-old said,
“It affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people. It’s such a public thing. It’s just hard for the both of us. But you know, she’s a great woman. I love her till this day. I think we’re going to be the greatest of friends.”
Justin added, “Right now we’re taking a little time and not talking.”
But, unless their Segway ride was conducted in silence, the star-crossed pair are clearly talking now.
Life & Style Weekly recently reported the 21-year-old starlet is looking for a home of her own in the swanky Calabasas neighborhood.
“Selena is very close to making an offer on a house inside the Calabasas development where Justin lives,” the publication claimed.
“She looked at other neighborhoods but really fell in love with a home near Justin’s,” it added.
Of course, the story could be bogus.
But does this mean the twosome are back together? Or are these just the first Segway-assisted steps to a thawing in their recent non-talking?

Despite all those salty reports from Bieber’s South American tour leg involving a brothel visit, parties and that strange “sleeping” video filmed by a Brazilian woman of dubious occupation, his camp denied any actual sex took place. And, it’s possible it didn’t.
As for Gomez, she recently cancelled the Australian and Asia legs of her Stars Dance world tour citing a need to focus on herself amid reports she has Lupus. The Disney alum recently said she has only been asked out once since her split from Bieber.
Now that Justin is taking a break this year after spending Christmas with his family back in Canada, will he and Selena spend more time together?
So many questions, so much scope for speculation. However, one thing is certain. The year has barely got going and these two made time to hang out together. On Segways. There’s a song in there somewhere.
