Kandi Burruss Posts Instagram Bikini Pics Following Weight Criticism [Photos]

Kandi Burruss responded to recent weight criticisms by posting several pics to Instagram.

The reality television found her size the subject of ridicule during a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. While on vacation in Savannah, Georgia, the cast found themselves staying at an area bed and breakfast. When Burruss trekked upstairs to snag a good room, Kenya Moore took a shot at her weight.

“I don’t know what got into Kandi. Maybe she smelled some Chick-fil-A or a burger upstairs,” Moore remarked during the episode.

This certainly isn’t the first time someone made a joke about Kandi Burruss’ size on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore previously stated that her co-star could afford to skip some meals after some of the ladies took a trip to the famous fast food joint.

To prove to everyone that she doesn’t have any issues with her curves, Kandi posted a handful of pictures from her recent vacation on Instagram. Wearing a swimsuit that shows off her figure, Burruss didn’t appear to have any problems with her size as she posed for the pictures on a sunny and sandy beach.

Fans of Kandi Burruss previously took issue with Kenya Moore’s mean-spirited remarks. After she encountered a fair amount of backlash from folks online, Moore decided to address the situation in a post on her official blog.

“I made a wise crack. Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I’m sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose. I won Miss USA at 128lbs and I’m now a healthy 145-150lb at 5’10”. As women, we know 5lbs is everything to us, but I simply encourage all women to be healthy,” Kenya wrote.

She then went on to plug her DVD Booty Boot Camp.

Kandi responded to the “skip a few meals” comment with a post on Instagram.

“People wanted me to say how I felt about what Kenya Moore said on last week’s episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Well she says I need to miss a few meals but I say I’m fabulous! Gone wit the wind fabulous, Gone wit the wind fabulous,” she captioned the pic.
