Anne Hathaway Wraps Up Dog Poop, Leaves It For Paparazzo

Anne Hathaway has a novel way to deal with pesky paparrazzi — by giving them the gift of dog poop.

On the day after Christmas, the 31-year-old actress was taking her dog Esmeralda out for a walk when a man with a camera began following them.

After her dog did its business, Anne Hathaway wrapped up the leavings in a yellow plastic bag and put it on the windshield of the paparazzo’s car.

Hathaway didn’t comment on the dog poop incident afterward, but in the past she’s made it clear that she’s sensitive to all the negative attention she’s been getting. After making some emotional award speeches in the past couple of years, Hathaway has become a popular target of hatred from fans and on social media.

Hathaway admitted that all the hate does take a toll, stating: “It does get to me. But you have to remember in life that there’s a positive to every negative and a negative to every positive.”

A source also told Us Magazine, “She was very aware that she had been the butt of everyone’s jokes.”

Anne Hathaway isn’t the only celebrity to step up to paparazzi this year. After Bruce and Kris Jenner announced their separation earlier this year, photographers went on a mission to track down family members. After their daughter Kylie Jenner was chased by paparazzi, Bruce confronted the photographers himself.

“I don’t get mad very often, but these guys are really ticking me off,” Bruce Jenner said in a voice-over on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. “I don’t want them following my daughter. That’s just dangerous.”

Others take a more aggressive stance against paparazzi. While Anne Hathaway may prefer to leave dog poop as a late Christmas present, Alec Baldwin has gotten into numerous scraps with photographers hounding him and his family.
